Independent Artist Rate: We book per hour or in block time. Whichever method works best for you, the same rates apply for tracking, mixing or mastering.

We welcome freelance engineers! If you are a freelance engineer in the area who would like to use our studio, give us a call to set up a studio tour. We'll need to meet with you before booking a session to help you become familiar with the setup of our studio.

Package Deals:
          
Demo Package: Six hours of studio time. We recommend spending 3 hours tracking and 3 hours mixing/mastering. Depending on the number of instruments and track length, this is typically enough time to demo 4 songs.

Weekend Lockout: An entire weekend in the studio. We work up to 10 hours on Saturday and 10 hours on Sunday. This is a great way to get a lot of work done fast. We've had several bands track their entire album in one weekend. This time could also be used for mixing or mastering.

On Location Recording: $300 SubCat comes to you. One of our engineers will multi-track record your live performance in any local venue or even at your rehearsal space. It's a great way to capture the vibe that a live audience brings. The tracks can then be mixed here in the studio and produced into a live album.
